I work with expertise-led businesses to translate their onlyness into assets that make the right people find you, understand you, and commit to you.
Let's TalkI become the right hand to experts too deep in their work to explain it to the outside world.
Chris is my business' psychiatrist.
Best practices are pooled ignorance.
That's why I don't bring them into our relationship. I embed into your world, learn its rules, breathe in a fresh perspective, and stay long enough to see what you can't see from having been in it for so long.
What comes out of this is a business partnership without an equity agreement. My role is to build you a client acquisition system. Your unique point of view, refined and made consistent everywhere your ideal client can interact with you.
At 20, I was traveling the world as a commercial filmmaker. Creating branded content for companies like Sony, Canon, YouTube's Fashion division, and YouTubers in the days before everyone had a "production team." The work I've produced has amassed over 1 billion organic views, and has been everywhere from social media pages, to TV, to billboards in Times Square.
Somewhere in that process I realized the work I was actually doing evolved from production, to translation. I've spent the years since sitting with subject-matter experts who are exceptional at what they do and genuinely overwhelmed when it comes to explaining it.
The greatest quality to the audience-translation work I do is the deep empathy for the state your ideal buyer is in when your message reaches them. That's where the word Sondor, the name of my company, came from. "Sonder," the root word, is the realization that every person around you is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. The experts I translate voices for serve within their community, not above it.
I came in with a generic marketing problem, and you helped me figure out my content, crafting my ideas, and take a step forward in my business. You helped me link my outside purpose to my business, which was the unlock to differentiating myself from the rest.
Chris helped me understand what people wanted to know about my business, and brought the words out of me to introduce it.
Chris helped me learn how to better serve my customers by making it clear how my product fits into their lives.
No pitch. No pressure. Just a conversation about what you're building and whether I can help.
